Color is one of the most detected pollutants at the outlet of an industrial process. It is therefore very important its reduction/removal from wastewater.
A well dimensioned biological treatment allows a 60% color abatement, that can be then improved through other technologies according to the level of residual color, such as: resin filtration, reverse osmosis, and advance chemical oxidation.
